The XXBB Glossary: JILI and Philippine Casino Terms, Defined
Every gallery needs a wall text. These are the words XXBB uses across the site, defined once, without the marketing gloss — grouped by where you will meet them.
Payout Mathematics
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| RTP (return to player) | The share of all wagers a game is designed to return across an enormous number of rounds. Super Ace publishes 97%. It describes the game, not your session. |
| House edge | The complement of RTP. A 97% game keeps 3% of turnover over the long run; Golden Empire's 96.5% implies 3.5%. |
| Volatility (variance) | How a game distributes its returns. Low-medium means smaller, more frequent wins; high means long dry spells and rarer, larger results. |
| Max win | The largest documented multiple of your stake one round can return — 1,500x on Super Ace, 15,000x on Mega Ace. A ceiling, not a forecast. |
| Turnover (wagering) | The total amount staked, including money re-wagered from wins. Bonus conditions are measured against turnover, not against your deposit. |
| RNG | Random number generator. Certified software that settles every round independently, with no memory of the rounds before it. |
Reel Mechanics
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ways to win | Paylines replaced by adjacency. Matching symbols pay from the leftmost reel across neighbouring reels in any position — 1024 ways on Super Ace, 46,656 on Mega Ace. |
| Wild | A symbol that stands in for others to complete a combination. Super Ace's golden cards flip into Joker wilds. |
| Golden card | JILI's Ace-family mechanic: a marked card on the reels that converts to a wild, opening combinations that were not there before. |
| Scatter | A symbol that pays or triggers a feature regardless of position. Six scatters on Charge Buffalo can award up to 100 free spins. |
| Cascade | Winning symbols are removed and replaced by new ones, allowing chained wins in one round — the engine behind Boxing King's rising x2-x8 multipliers. |
| Combo multiplier | A multiplier that steps upward across consecutive wins in the same round, as on Super Ace and Super Ace Deluxe. |
| Multiplier reel | A side reel that applies a multiplier to a win. Fortune Gems runs x1-x15; Money Coming's 4th reel goes up to x10. |
| Respin | A partial re-spin that keeps some result in place. Crazy 777 repeats the winning symbol, boosting wins up to x5. |
| Split symbol | A symbol that counts as two or three, as in Fortune Gems 3's documented x2/x3 splits. |
| Free spins | Rounds awarded by a feature and played without further stake. Golden Empire's carry an unlimited free-spin multiplier. |
Bingo, Keno and Quick Games
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bingo card | The grid of numbers you hold for a round. Numbers are drawn and marked until a required pattern completes. |
| Pattern | The shape a bingo round pays on — a line, a corner set, a full card. The pattern is set before the draw begins. |
| Keno | A numbers game: you choose a set, a draw follows, and the payout scales with how many of your picks appear. |
| Extra ball | An additional draw offered for an extra stake when a pattern is one number short. It is a fresh bet, priced accordingly. |
| Color Game | A Philippine fiesta staple rendered digitally: pick colours, the dice resolve, matches pay. |
| Tongits / Pusoy | Filipino card games — Tongits Go and Pusoy Go bring them into the JILI lobby against other players rather than reels. |
| Published RTP | Worth repeating here: JILI does not publish RTP figures for its bingo, keno and card titles, so XXBB prints none. Any percentage you see quoted for them elsewhere is invented. |
Money, Rails and Verification
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| InstaPay | The real-time Philippine transfer rail. Up to PHP 50,000 per transaction and PHP 500,000 per day, settling in minutes to a few hours, 24/7. |
| PESONet | The batch rail for larger-than-InstaPay transfers. Settles same or next banking day rather than instantly. |
| QRPh | The national QR standard, used to push a transfer by scanning rather than typing account details. |
| GCash cash-in | Loading your wallet. Free up to PHP 8,000 per month, then around 2%. GCash lists a maintenance window of 12:00-03:00 PHT. |
| KYC | Know Your Customer — the one-time identity review, taking 24-48 hours, required before withdrawal. Accepted IDs include the Philippine passport, SSS card, UMID, PhilHealth card, driver's licence and PRC ID. |
| Third-party account | A wallet or bank account in someone else's name. Rejected — your account and your payout destination must both be yours. |
| PAGCOR | The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, which licenses and regulates operators. Minimum age 21, with age checked at KYC before withdrawal. |
Staying in Control
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bankroll | The amount you decided in advance you are willing to lose for the entertainment. Not your wallet balance, and not a deposit limit. |
| Deposit limit | A daily, weekly or monthly cap you set on your own account. The tool that binds a decision made calmly to a moment that is not calm. |
| Reality check | A periodic interruption telling you how long the session has run. Useful precisely because sessions do not feel long from the inside. |
| Self-exclusion | A structural break from play, set through your account when intention alone is not doing the job. |
| Gambler's fallacy | The belief that past results change future odds — that a game is 'due'. RNG has no memory. This is the most expensive idea in the glossary. |
If any term on this page is describing your last few sessions rather than a game, NCMH's free, confidential helpline at 1553 is open, and self-exclusion is available in your account. Players must be 21 or older.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between RTP and volatility?
RTP is how much a game returns over the long run; volatility is how it distributes those returns. Super Ace and Mega Ace both publish 97% RTP, but Mega Ace's high volatility makes the ride far less even.
What does 'ways to win' mean on a JILI slot?
It replaces fixed paylines with adjacency: matching symbols pay from the leftmost reel across neighbouring reels in any position. Super Ace has 1024 ways; Mega Ace has 46,656.
What is InstaPay's limit in the Philippines?
PHP 50,000 per transaction and PHP 500,000 per day, settling in minutes to a few hours, around the clock. Larger transfers use PESONet, which settles same or next banking day in batches.
What IDs are accepted for KYC at XXBB?
Philippine passport, SSS card, UMID, PhilHealth card, driver's licence or PRC ID. The review is one-time and takes 24-48 hours, and the account must be in your own name.
